POTSDAM — Family Practitioner Ashley Grimshaw, MD, has joined the medical staff of St. Lawrence Health System’s Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
She is practicing with colleagues Vineet Bansal, MD; John Duffy, MD; Dawn White, PA; Emily Wood, MD; Alecia VanWagner, DO; and Rafi Yusuf, DO at Potsdam Primary Care, 49 Lawrence Ave.
Dr. Grimshaw earned her medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, and completed her residency training through the St. Joseph’s Health Family Medicine Residency Program, Syracuse. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Grimshaw performs or requests diagnostic tests, makes diagnoses, prescribes treatments, administers vaccinations, and performs follow-up examinations for pediatric and adult patients.
In addition, she provides education regarding disease prevention and health maintenance with her patients.
