Every year we go through the same thing with our kids. School is about to start up again and that means clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. It means name brands, newest styles, Money. Lots of money. We are not rich, but do well enough that our children never do without. But the dress codes at schools, the money necessary to get popular clothes, and constant stress of kids picking on each other for what they wear is ridiculous. I say they institute a nation wide dress code for schools. Neutral color pants such as khaki, or knee length skirts, and solid colored shirts such as polo shirts or button ups. Take the guesswork out and make them all look the same. The clothes they wear can be for after school is out and then they can worry about school while in school. Would be cheaper and easier on everyone.
