To the Editor:

As the 2026 election cycle nears, voters in the NYS 21st Congressional District face a crucial decision.

We are faced with deciding who is best qualified to represent us with the knowledge, passion, fervor and common sense that is necessary to be an effective representative of all the people in our district. I wholeheartedly believe that person to be Robert Smullen.

I have known Robert both personally and professionally for over 10 years and have found him to be a man of his word and that his tenacity is second to none. He is a true patriot, who puts his duty to family and country first, as is evidenced by his lengthy and highly successful military career.

Robert has the experience and passion that is needed in Washington to effectively represent all the citizens within the 21st Congressional District. He understands how Washington works, the multiple issues that rural municipalities face and most of all, how to work with others in order to get things done…all things that matter to the people he works for, the voters.

I truly believe that Robert Smullen is, without a doubt, the most qualified choice for the 21st Congressional District.

For all these reasons, it is my privilege to enthusiastically endorse his candidacy and hope that you will as well.
