OGDENSBURG -- A cruise ship will make 10 stops in Ogdensburg between May and October.
The MS St. Laurent will dock from 1 to 4 p.m. on May 17 and 26, June 22, July 1 and 18, Sept. 11, 20, and 29 and Oct. 8 and 17.
The Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce expects 200 people to disembark each time. They are trying to get a group of vendors to set up booths at the Dobisky Visitors Center on the above dates.
“We are encouraging them to tour the Frederic Remington Art Museum, shop at our vendor booths, walk along the Maple City Trail, speak to local residents about the history of Ogdensburg or take a bike ride,” the chamber said in an email. “We encourage our members to welcome our visitors -- offer some perks and invite them to return to Ogdensburg on their next holiday.”
