POTSDAM -- The Crane Latin Ensemble will present a free fall concert at SUNY Potsdam's Crane School Friday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Hosmer Hall. The performance will include works by Tito Puente, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Cachao and the Mambo Legends Orchestra.
The Crane Latin Ensemble explors the genre of Afro-Cuban music and salsa. The ensemble explores folkloric and contemporary rhythms, songs and styles that take their roots specifically from Puerto Rico, Cuba and the Dominican Republic.
Adjunct instructor Nathaniel Coyne will direct the Crane Latin Ensemble this year.
