CANTON – The St. Lawrence County Public Health Department is sponsoring an immunization clinic for people 19 years old and up at the Human Services Center, 80 St. Rt. 310, on Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Vaccines available for an administration fee of $15 each are Gardisil, for females aged 19 to 26, protects against human papilloma virus; TDAP, for people aged 19-65 at least five years after last tetanus shot, for tetanus, diptheria and pertussis; Pnemovax 23, 19 and up, for people who smoke, have asthma, or have another disease or long-term health problem that lowers the body’s resistance to infection, protects against pneumonia.
