POTSDAM -- Additional North Country Matters Presents: Conversation with Candidates will air this week on WCKN, Time Warner Channel 30 in Potsdam.

The new 30-minute conversation is with St. Lawrence County Family Court Judge candidate Andrew Moses, who spoke with Miles Manchester and Susan Rice to discuss the issues surrounding this year’s judgeship election.

On Monday, Oct. 17, following Peak Moment TV at 7 p.m., you can watch the Sept. 12 Dissolution Hearing held by the Village of Potsdam.

On Tues., Oct. 18, the second hearing taped on Oct. 5 with the Seneca Falls officials airs at 7:30 pm. This discussion presented a case-study of another community’s dissolution process before and after the vote.

The Conversations with Candidates air starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 19, with Family Court candidate Andrew Moses; Gavin Regan, County Clerk, at 7:30; Family Court candidate Cecily Morris at 8 p.m.; Potsdam Trustee candidate Mark Lee at 8:30; Steve Yurgartis, Potsdam Mayor candidate at 9 p.m.; and Potsdam Trustee candidate Eleanor Hopke at 9:30

Those six conversations repeat on Thursday, Oct. 20 starting at 7 pm. There will be a one-hour interruption from 8 to 9 p.m. for a public health video program.

More Potsdam Dissolution voter education programs are planned. On Oct. 21, WCKN will tape a discussion of the Alternatives to Dissolution which were in the report prepared for the village. Committee members Michele Arnold and Alex Jacobs will outline the non-dissolution choices recommended in the report with Potsdam resident Bob Burns.

On Oct. 28, WCKN will host a live call-in show to answer last minute questions and opinions concerning Dissolution prior to the vote on Nov. 8.

Each of the half-hour segments will be broadcast on a rotating basis between recording and Election Day, Nov. 8 and be available on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/user/danieledullea#
