POTSDAM – Contractors Tuesday began demolishing a Clarkson University residence hall destroyed by fire in March.
Half of the four-unit Riverside Apartments building was torn down by the end of the day and workers continued the job this morning.
The building is one of six located off Clarkson Avenue almost directly across from Clarkson Pres. Tony Collins’ house.
A grease fire was determined to be the cause of the early evening March 28 blaze that left over a dozen Clarkson University students displaced.
