Community Bank N.A. is pleased to announce that Matthew Honeywell was recently promoted to branch manager of the Ogdensburg location.
In his new role, Honeywell will oversee the daily operation of the office, “ensuring every customer receives the highest level of customer service,” according to a press release.
He will also be responsible for managing sales and promoting business development.
“Matthew is tremendously talented and dedicated to the success of his customers, and we are thrilled to have him lead the Ogdensburg team. He has more than 10 years of experience in the banking industry and brings a wealth of knowledge to the position,” said Rita Walldroff, Community Bank N.A. regional manager.
Honeywell began his banking career in 2004 as a teller at HSBC.
Most recently, he served as branch manager at the Community Bank N.A. in Alexandria Bay.
Honeywell received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from SUNY Oswego in 2004 and his master of business administration from University of Phoenix in 2010.
He is active in his community, volunteering annually at River Hospital’s Polar Bear Dip and serving as an ice hockey official for Division I and Division II hockey.
Honeywell is also a member of the National Ice Hockey Officials Association.
He resides in Ogdensburg with his wife and two children.
