The Cosmic Colts of Colton-Pierrepont Central School, coached by Peter Edwards, competed at the first Lego League Competition at Clarkson University and was one of several teams to get awards.
Team members include Katherine Hanifan, Kayla Reinert, Jace Worden, Josh Irwin, Cody Trimm, Ryelee Rutkauskas, Amanda Woods, Hailey Williamson and Cian Trimm. The competition theme was ‘Into Orbit,’ and the students researched how to grow fresh vegetables in space and grew various vegetables using hydroponics.
