STOCKHOLM — A Colton man was charged Thursday after tailgating an unmarked St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies patrol vehicle and passing in a speed zone on Thursday.
Deputies said Brandon W. Monroe, 36, was following an unmarked police vehicle too closely on State Highway 11C before passing the patrol in a 35 mph zone.
Monroe was also found to be driving on a suspended license, officers said.
He was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speed in zone and following too closely.
He was issued appearance tickets returnable to Stockholm court at a later date.
