COLTON -- Make sure to bring a frog as Colton Country Day begins July 21 with its annual frog-jumping contest at 9:30 a.m.
The public is invite as the town celebrates on of its biggest events of the year with music, food games throughout the days.
A variety of children's games and activities will be held at the museum at 10 a.m.
At 11 a.m. the Colton-Pierrepont Central School jazz band will play at the gazebo, while a chicken barbecue will be held at the first station.
At 12 noon, Jack Kelley Little Big Band will play the gazebo.
Events will wind down with an ice cream social at 7 p.m., followed by fireworks at dusk.
A professional white water kayaking event will be held along Stone Valley from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
