In its first year in the USCSA Eastern Collegiate Ski Conference MacConnell Division, the Clarkson University Alpine Ski teams qualified for the regionals and had seven members named to the All-MacConnell Division teams, including senior JP Phaneuf (Montreal, QUE), who was chosen as the Division's Skier of the Year.
Phaneuf had eight top-three finishes during the season, inclduing four wins and three runner-up showings to gain the top spot in the ECSC MacConnell Division standings. Classmate Cedrik Proteau-Dubois (Ste. Adele, QUE) trailed only his teammate and was the only other skier within striking distance of Phaneuf all season long. Junior David Simon (Montvale, NJ) earned fourth place for the regular season, and Bill O'Connor (Mahopac, NY) and Christian Perryman (West Lebanon, NH) gained 10th and 12th place, respectively, to earn All-MacConnell Division status.
The women's team didn't gain its regional spot until the last day of the season, but had a pair of all-stars as well. Senior Sophie LeBlanc (Cumberland, ME) took ninth place overall in the standings, and classmate Jill Clevenger (LaGrangeville, NY) was 12th overall in the standings to gain All-MacConnell Division honors.
