Tyler Cline (Tuxedo, NY) of the Clarkson University Golf team and Adrienne Walker (Centennial, CO) from the Clarkson University Volleyball team seem to have made seamless transitions to their respective college sports as both were chosen as Liberty League Rookie of the Week on Monday.
Cline, who shared the honor last week, posted back-to-back scores of 77 at the St. Lawrence Invitational this weekend, finishing 21st out of 79 golfers with his score of 154. Through five rounds of 18 this year, Cline is averaging 77.6 strokes per round.
Walker, named Liberty League Rookie of the Week for the first time this year, produced 31 kills, 5 blocks and 2 aces in a 5-0 week in which she played in four matches. On the season, she ranks among the team leaders with 54 kills (.254 hitting percentage) with 12 blocks and 6 aces through eight matches.
