POTSDAM – Cinema 10 continues its Spring 2011 season Monday, Feb. 14 with a screening of Nine Nation Animation, a 2010 collection of shorts from all over the world.
Cinema 10 films screen on Mondays at 7:15 p.m. at the Roxy Theatre in Potsdam.
Tickets are $3.50 individual/$25 season tickets for students and seniors, and $4.50 individual/$35 season tickets for general admission.
This is a World According to Shorts collection of animation from the Cannes, Berlin, Annecy, and Clermont-Ferrand festivals.
The nine stories are all compelling, dramatic, and occasionally hilarious, but you will
marvel at the range of techniques that push animation to new heights.
Dennis Harvey of Variety calls the collection “first rate” and “a filling multicourse meal for the discerning grownup toon fan.”
