WADDINGTON -- Christmas in Waddington will feature a variety of events on Dec. 8 and 9.

On Dec. 9:

8-10 a.m. Pancake breakfast with Santa, American Legion Post 420; 10 a.m. Annual Santa 5K Walk/Run, Island View Park; 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Viewing of the Festival of the Trees and Basket Silent Auction Begins, Old Town Hall; 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Local craft and vendor fair, Old Town Hall/ Waddington Hepburn Library; 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Storytime and crafts with Santa, Waddington Hepburn Library; 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. Thumbprint reindeer ornament craft, The Gallery at Lake St. Lawrence; 12-3 p.m. Horse drawn wagon ride with hot chocolate and carol, Old Waddington Community Bank; 3-5 p.m. Adult winter games, Blue Water Redemption; 6:30 p.m. Doors open for Festival of the Trees with Snacks, Drinks, and DJ Ryan Woodard, Old Town Hall; 7-8 p.m. Live auction of the trees/collect silent auction bids, Old Town Hall; 8-9:30 p.m. Jingle Mingle with refreshments and snacks and music from DJ Ryan Woodard, Old Town Hall.
