POTSDAM -- Cellist Alisa Woods-Darie is inviting community members to donate original photographs for Cello Sounds of the Adirondacks, a program of music celebrating the landscapes and waters of the Adirondacks.
She is seeking images of the Raquette River, Adirondack waterways, loons in the Adirondacks, sandstone structures and formations, and homes of the Adirondacks, from perfectly kept to abandoned homesteads and weathered relics of the past.
Selected photographs will be projected during the pieces performed in the program.
Everyone who donates images will be acknowledged in the printed program as an artistic contributor.
Contributors must own the rights to the photographs they submit; only original photos will be accepted.
To donate photographs, email dralisawoods@gmail.com by October 20.
Performances of Cello Sounds of the Adirondacks will take place on November 21 and December 13.
Details to be announced.
