To the Editor:
I am one of many who are completely disgusted by the rude and obnoxious use and abuse of cellphones in public.
I have a cell phone but it is used only to make calls when necessary and not turned on until then. How many people have visitors to their home who do nothing but play with this toy? I have.
Perhaps schools should teach the art of conversation as a means to return the cell phone to its necessary purpose in life.
The emergence of the electronic industry is wonderful but only when used in a civil and considerate manner.
