“Breast Cancer of America: They are a known scam organization. They give less than 2 percent of their money to an actual charity. The woman on the other end was syrupy sweet southerner but the reality is she is trying to rob innocent people. The caller was identified as Breast Cancer of America.”
I took this previous post from the internet when I looked up the number on my caller ID. Many people have received calls from this organization and I received one last night.
Exactly as described, syrupy sweet, Southern accented lady, calling me hun. She was high pressure and looking for money, right then!
Please don’t fall for this and keep your money. And never give out credit card or bank account information.
We have local fundraisers and cancer centers that would love a donation to help their patients.
