POTSDAM – Canton-Potsdam Hospital offers a free Sleep Disorders Screening Clinic every fourth Monday from 7 to 8:00 p.m. in the hospital's Sleep Lab located on the bottom floor of 20 Cottage St.
This free screening is open to the public.
Snoring is usually taken for granted as a natural consequence of sleep.
However, snoring can also be an indicator of a more serious health condition. In fact, over 40 million Americans suffer from some form of sleep disorder, ranging from mild to life-threatening.
Participants will be asked to complete questionnaires and will have the opportunity to talk to Rod Kenyon, RRT, RPSGT, Sleep Lab Coordinator.
Dr. Magendra Thakur, Medical Director of the Sleep Lab, will review the completed questionnaires and make recommendations.
After receiving Dr. Thakur's recommendations, the sleep lab staff will contact those who have completed the questionnaires.
