POTSDAM -- An alleged domestic dispute Friday resulted in charges for a Canton man, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Deputies charged Herbert M. Planty III, 40, with fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child.
Planty allegedly threatened the victim and damaged property that did not belong to him.
The incident took place in front of a minor, officers said.
Planty was arraigned by Judge Morgan of Canton court and released on his own recognizance, deputies said.
An order of protection was issued in favor of the victim, officers said.
