CANTON -- The Canton Central School Board of Education made several appointments and accepted a pair of resignations at its July 13 meeting.
Appointments included:
• Kathryn Liscum was appointed as an elementary teacher effective Aug. 31 at a salary of $51,120.
• Melissa Baxter was appointed as a special education teacher effective Aug. 31 at a salary of $60,337.
• Laurie Kiah was appointed as an elementary teacher effective Aug. 31 at a salary of $60,337.
• Morgan Hetu was appointed as an elementary teacher effective Aug. 31 at a salary of $54,423.
• Renetta Dostie was appointed as a secretary effective July 17 at a salary of $27,456.
• Kimberly Wallace was named a student tutor for the 2017-18 school year.
Resignations included:
• Alison Johnson resigned from the position of keyboard specialist.
• Matthew Denney stepped from the a substitute school bus driver position.
