POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital operating room technician Taylor Maningo, in conjunction with St. Jude’s Research Hospital and Kay Jewelers, organized a fund-raising initiative that brought 65 stuffed bears to the hospital.
Each bear represents at least $7 donated to St. Jude’s.
In addition, a donation of $1,000 was made by Dr. Michael G. Chater, an otolaryngologist, head and neck surgeon.
Maningo is now training for three months with the National Guard.
