CANTON -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital will hold a breast cancer awareness dinner Wednesday, Oct. 10 at the Best Western University Inn. Informational booths will open at 5 p.m., followed by dinner and a talk at 6 p.m.
A breast cancer survivor will share her story and Joyce Foster from the imaging department will speak about the advances in early detection available at the hospital. The program will also include recognition of individuals who have been key fundraisers for the patient navigator program at the Center for Cancer Care.
Dinner choices include chicken parmesan ($20), roasted salmon with dill sauce ($22) or prime rib ($25). There is no charge for breast cancer survivors.
