Breast and Ovarian Cancer walk

GOUVERNEUR -- The Gouverneur Breast and Ovarian Cancer Fund will celebrate its 25th annual walk at Gouverneur Village Park. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with opening ceremonies at 10:15 a.m. and the walk to follow. The event marks 25 years of community support for local cancer patients. Since the first walk in 2001, the fund has assisted more than 1,400 patients and distributed more than 4,000 recovery gift bags.
