Assemblyman Ken Blankenbush has been named to the Assembly Insurance Committee.
He also serves as Ranking Minority Member of the Assembly Agriculture Committee and serves on the committees on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions; Small Business; Social Services; and Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports Development.
“This assignment fits my professional skills perfectly, as I’ve spent over 30 years in the insurance industry, Blankenbush said. “I look forward to lending my expertise to this committee and the industry’s legislative issues.”
Blankenbush, a Republican from Black River representing the 122nd Assembly District, including most of St. Lawrence County, is a managing partner in B.E.L. Associates, an insurance agency in Watertown.
