Assemblyman Ken Blankenbush is moving his sole district office to West Carthage in Jefferson County.
Since taking office on Jan. 1, the assemblyman’s office has been in Gouverneur, in the same space occupied by former Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava.
“I am looking forward to making this move to West Carthage. I am hopeful that the new district office location will be more convenient for constituents, as the greater Carthage area is the geographic center of the 122nd Assembly District,” said Blankenbush, whose district includes much of southern St. Lawrence County.
The new office is at 15 Bridge St., West Carthage. The mailing address is 15 Bridge St., Carthage, NY 13619; the phone number is (315) 493-3909.
Blankenbush said he is planning “mobile offices” at least once a month to accommodate constituents who cannot visit him in Carthage.
The move to West Carthage is effective Tuesday, March 1.
