Area festivals popular with locals

Why do people attend local festivals? A recent North Country Now poll asked that very question, and the answers couldn't have described The Great American Falls Fest any better, stated Mayor Michael Hammond. People said they come to support local businesses and vendors (26%), enjoy great food (18%), see friends and neighbors (16%), experience live music (15%), and enjoy fireworks and entertainment (12%), Hammond noted.
