AKWESASNE -- The St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Election Board has received an appeal for the tribal election held on Saturday June 1.
The Election Board cannot certify the results of the recent election until the appeal is resolved, officials said in an announcement on the tribal website.
Once the investigation has been completed, the Election Board will announce their decision.
