NORWOOD -- The Norwood-Norfolk Ecumenical Community Choir accompanied by a nine-piece orchestra will present the Christmas Cantata, "Appalachian Winter" by Joseph Martin on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 7:30 pm at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 2 Park Ave.
There will be only one performance with a snow date the following evening at the same time and location.
The cantata features popular American carols and traditional spirituals along with thoughtful narration that weaves the movements together in a meaningful tapestry of song and scripture.
There is a suggested donation of $5.
Everyone is invited to a reception in the church basement immediately following the performance.
