CANTON -- The Canton Recreation Department will host their fourth annual Amateur Sand Sculpting Competition Saturday, June 13, from noon until 2 p.m. Judging begins at 2 p.m.
The first ten teams to sign up will compete in teams of four or less.
There will be groups or 12 years old and under and over age 13. Participants need to follow beach roes, use only sand and water and bring own tools (no power tools).
Each area is five feet by five feet with one pile of sand a five gallon pail of water. Kids under age 12 need adult supervision.
Cash prizes will be awarded.
