On May 26, 2016, Adirondack Dental officially acquired North Country Dental Services and we welcomed back Dr. Edmond Ormond, the former owner of the practice, to treat our patients. We greatly appreciate the patience and empathy our patients have shown us during the upheaval of the transitions that occurred at North Country Dental in 2016.

With this merger of knowledgeable and skilled dental offices, we hope to continue to have the privilege of taking care of your family’s dental needs. We plan to merge both offices into a larger facility at Adirondack Dental in the very near future. We’re looking forward to making your dental health our priority and are excited about doing this in our new facility!

New owner, Dr. David Hurlbut, started his career as an engineer with degrees from SUNY Canton and Clarkson University. He attended the University of Buffalo School Of Dental Medicine and completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. A native of Canton, NY, Dr. Hurlbut was glad to come back to the North Country and serve his hometown community.

We are an In-Network (participating) with the following insurances: CSEA, Delta Dental, Excellus BlueCross/BlueShield, Healthplex, Teamsters/RMSCO and United Concordia.

We also accept all traditional insurance plans, handle the billing and collection of insurance payments, and will do our best to provide estimated out-of-pocket amounts before treatment.
