MADRID -- The Madrid Dam Summer Music Series continues with the all female group Acapella North Wednesday, July 6, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The show takes place at the Madrid Community Park, with the community building serving as a rain location.
If the event is held indoors, the maximum capacity is 150.
During intermission there will be a “Madrid Moment.”
Acapella North Chorus is a member of Sweet Adelines International, an organization of females singing a capella four-part harmony music in barbershop style.
During it's 36-year history it has performed all around the North Country in venues large and small as well as at regional competitions.
Chorus members love to use their gift of song as a way to give back to the community and provide an avenue of enjoyment for audiences young and old, event organizers said.

Looking ahead to next week, The Easy Street Band will take the stage July 13. The Easy Street band started out as a garage band with a few local guys who all had a love for music. Band members include Kevin Fetterly, Lester Crump, Garry Fetterly and Roger Daggett.
The band plays a large assortment of music, from the 1950's to present day.
