LAWRENCE — Two Winthrop residents were charged following investigation of a property-damage accident early Wednesday morning, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Deputies say 17-year old Joseph M. Leashomb was driving under the influence of alcohol when he crashed the vehicle he was driving on State Highway 11C.
His blood-alcohol content was allegedly .20%.
Also charged during the incident was 40-year old Lawrence P. Leashomb, officers said.
He was charged with first-offense criminal contempt and aggravated family offense, officers said.
He reportedly violated an active order of protection by having contact with the protected party.
Both subjects were cited and released.
