POTSDAM -- Trinity Episcopal Church, 8 Maple St., is moving to the next phase of restorations for its stained glass windows.
An email to parishioners said the membership recently voted to embark on the next phase of stained glass renovation, and has made arrangements with the Brennan Stained Glass Studio in Syracuse to refurbish the windows that face onto Maple Street, the great Rose Window, and the patterned glass windows on either side of the Narthex (entrance). Brennan also did the recent work on the Good Shepherd, Resurrection and Light of World windows.
The email expressed confidence in Brennan’s work.
Unlike the process of restoration of the Tiffany windows, the Rose Window and the side windows will remain in place during the restoration.
The Brennan team plans to be on site in late May or early June, and they expect the work to take four to five days.
