BRASHER -- State police have accused a Brasher teen, Benjamin P. Meuten, 17, of felony possession of stolen property, and weapons, drug and other counts after being stopped by state police along St. Rt. 37C shortly after 6:30 p.m. in the town of Brasher Thursday.
The counts against him are fourth-degree possession of stolen property, a felony; misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, second degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and first-degree driving while impaired by drugs; and the infractions of leaving the scene of a property damage accident and speeding.
Troopers said his bail has been set at $10,000.
