Several St. Lawrence County varsity lacrosse players from Section X recently earned spots on NYS Adirondack Regional teams.
To earn their positions they faced two tryouts in Albany to earn the title of Top 25. They competed in the NYS Upstate Games in New Jersey on Aug. 10-12.
Two players in the 2021 division, Logan McCargar (Potsdam Central) and Gerald (Trey) Bessette (Canton Central), came home with the bronze.
Jayden Ashley (St. Lawrence Central) and Daniel Mahoney (Canton Central). players on the 2022 division, came home with the gold.
