OGDENSBURG – The last day to register for a Fair Housing Workshop to promote equal housing access in St. Lawrence County is Oct. 29.
The event will be 8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8 at the Dobisky Center and will update the county’s 1999 “Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing.” Workshop participants will be asked to identify steps to promote equal opportunity to safe and decent housing regardless of a person’s race, gender, ethnic origin, religion, disability or familial status.
Lunch will be catered, sponsored by North Country Savings Bank, the City of Ogdensburg and St. Lawrence County.
There is no fee to attend, but registration is required by calling the St. Lawrence County Planning Office at 379-2292 or e-mailing planning@stlawco.org.
