OGDENSBURG — An Ogdensburg man was arrested Monday for allegedly abusing a 7-year old child, according to Ogdensburg police.
Jordan M. Hooper, 27, was charged with second-degree strangulation, felony, second-degree assault, felony, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child, officers said.
Police responded to an Elizabeth Street residence following an alleged domestic incident involving child abuse, officers said.
Police determined that Hooper assaulted the child.
Hooper was arraigned in city court by Judge Alford and released under the supervision of probation, officers said.
