Leslie A. Hockey, 52, has been charged with aggravated vehicular assault, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
The charges stem from an accident that occurred as Hockey was driving west on County Rt. 2, before running off the north shoulder of the roadway on a curve.
The vehicle then struck a guardrail, overturning and landing in a yard.
Both Hockey and her husband were transported to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center for treatment.
Her husband Kevin C. Hockey, 59, was later transported to SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse for multiple spinal fractures and a brain bleed.
Leslie was arraigned in Morristown town court where she was released on her own recognizance.
