GOUVERNEUR – Dylan Reed won $10,000 Saturday, Sept. 18 after hitting a hole-in-one at the 13th annual Howland Pump The “Russ” Golf tournament Saturday September 18 at the Emerald Greens Golf Course.
Proceeds from the tournament in memory of Russ McDonald are donated each year to the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club.
A total of 192 golfers participated. “We couldn’t be happier about Dylan’s hole-in-one,” said Steve LaRose, CEO of Howland Pump. “We have been waiting 13 years for this to happen.”
Reed used a 6 iron on the 178-yard 9th hole to score his first ace. LaRose and several golfers witnessed the shot.
