HERMON — A Hermon man was jailed Friday after allegedly borrowing a vehicle from his girlfriend and then refusing to return it, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Carl W. Smith, 35, was charged unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on Church Street stemming from the June 19 incident, officers said.
Smith allegedly drove the vehicle to Malone.
He was arraigned in Hermon court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail on $1,500 bail, police said.
