HANNAWA FALLS -- Helping Hands, 5868 State Highway 56, is offering Thanksgiving food boxes that include all of the fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner.
These food boxes were formerly provided by St. Mary’s Roman Catholic, First United Methodist and First Presbyterian Churches of Potsdam.
For those in need of a Thanksgiving meal, a box must be reserved through Helping Hands of Hannawa. Helping Hands serves the communities of Potsdam, Hannawa Falls, Colton, South Colton, Brasher Falls, Helena, Hopkinton, Madrid, Norfolk, Norwood, Parishville, Pierrepont, West Potsdam, Nicholville, Stockholm, North Lawrence, and Winthrop.
Food boxes are limited in number. To reserve a Thanksgiving box, call Linda at 401-465-1752 by Nov. 1. Pick-up of food boxes will take place at Helping Hands of Hannawa Nov. 21 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will be a drive-through format. Wear a mask when picking up orders.
