GOUVERNEUR – St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Gouverneur Village Police charged Jason S. Wollman, 34, 145 Rock Island St., Gouverneur, with first-degree scheming to defraud, a class E felony, Monday, stemming from an investigation.
Deputies allege Wollman took money from two different subjects to do work for them and never did the work, nor did he return the money.
He is to answer the charge in DeKalb Town Court on Feb. 22.
