NORFOLK -- The Community Lunch Program for Kids (CLPK) was recently awarded a $20,000 Humanitarian Aid Grant to offset the effects of COVID 19 for families living in the Norwood, Norfolk and Raymondville area.
The cash comes from The Alcoa Foundation.
CLPK will work with Norwood-Norfolk Central teachers, counselors and administrators, as well as local churches and community groups, to distribute these funds over the next year, in a fair and equitable way, to those who have been negatively affected by the pandemic.
