AKWESASNE — The tribal election will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, with early voting on Tuesday, June 1 and Wednesday, June 2 from 5-9 p.m. at the former IGA building.
Due to COVID-19, absentee ballots will be available for community members who do not want to vote in-person. Absentee ballots can be requested beginning May 3, by calling the Tribal Clerk’s office. Deadline to request absentee ballots is noon, Wednesday, May 26.
Home voting will take place on Friday, June 4, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., by appointment only. To schedule an appointment contact the Tribal Clerk’s Office by noon, Tuesday, June 1.
