(Rutland, Vt.)- The SUNY Canton men’s basketball team lost to the College of St. Joseph 76-71 Friday night in a Sunrise Conference game in Rutland, Vt.
Khalid Vaughn (New York, N.Y.) scored at least 20 points for the second time in the last three games as the freshman guard sank 6 of 7 free throws to finish with 20 points, four rebounds and two steals.
Jajuan Williams (Richlands, N.C.) buried three 3-pointers and finished with 16 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Tony Valentin (Perth Amboy, N.J.) added 15 points, four rebounds and two steals for the Roos (0-6 Sunrise Conference, 2-13 overall).
Jamie Radja led the Fighting Saints with 17 points and Rahiem Smalls added 15 points and seven rebounds.
