To the Editor:
Congratulations to all the folks who are choosing to run for office in Town of Colton this year. Each person has something to offer from their backgrounds and personal lives. I have learned over the years that a diversified board would be the best choice for running a fair local government.
I look at ages of candidate (we need both youth and seniors), home location of candidates (we need reps from Colton and South Colton), and past/present occupations of candidates, (we need a mix here), to name a few qualifications.
Please read up on our candidates backgrounds and help us choose the best diversified board possible.
And I thank all who have served us in the past - whether retiring, or leaving office for any reason.
