POTSDAM: "Sea of Japan Earthquake," Thursday seismology workshop, 3 p.m., Stowell Hall Room 131; hands-on activities dealing with the use of real seismic equipment and seismograms of local and distant earthquakes; class size is limited to 10 people, so participants are urged to arrive early, parking is also available in Lot 6.
Technology class
MASSENA: 2-part technology class to learn about smartphones, tablets, apps, cameras, messages, phone calls, using the cloud, and more; Thursdays May 26 and May 23; 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Massena Public Library's patron business center room; ages 18 and older.; bring passwords for Apple and Google if you have any.
