NORWOOD – The Tick Brothers are the next scheduled performers for the 46th annual Norwood Village Green Concert Series.
The duo will perform original children’s music in the Liotta Band Shell at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 6 for NNCS Elementary student body and the public.
The Tick Brothers, RiverJack Z and Mikey D, produce a full band sound that’s sure to soothe the soul and rock your bones, said a series press release. RiverJack Z was a founding member of the legendary Zucchini Brothers who performed for the series and NNCS students a decade ago, the release said.
Prior to the performance, the brothers will assist 2nd and 5th graders in songwriting exercises assisted by George Buffer, NNCS music educator.
The concert series’ youth programming is supported in part by National Grid.
